★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shows the history of Takayama, almost all labels are in Japanese only and the exhibits are not all that well displayed. It's free to enter and does give a visitor a bit of orientation to the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great museum with lots of exhibits. Although it's disappointing that they don't have English translation for most description of the artworks placed here. The admission here is free that's why, make sure to visit! :)

It's so wonderful museum and introduces the history or the present daily lives of Takayama. The admission fee is free! It's incredible.
It's a must see place for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many interesting arts inside. There are also history items too. It is worth visiting. Unfortunately you can't take any pictures inside. So, come by yourself and experience the history of takayama.
