T	Takahiro KAKIZAWA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 町並みを散策をしていると周囲と比較して威厳ある作りの建物が目にとまりました。旧役場とのことで無料で見学できました。中は明治くらいから近代までの歴史的な資料などの展示となっていました。派手な展示物はなく全体的に地味な感じもしますがゆっくりと時間をかけて当時の雰囲気を想像しながら見てまわると楽しいです。建物の作りの雰囲気が他のお店などと似ている感じがするのは地域的な建築様式の特徴でしょうか。天井の木造アーチが美しかったです。 As I strolled around the streets, I noticed a dignified building compared to the surrounding area. I was able to visit the old government office for free. Inside was an exhibition of historical materials from the Meiji era to the modern era. There are no flashy exhibits and it feels sober overall, but it's fun to take your time and look around while imagining the atmosphere of the time. Is it a characteristic of the regional architectural style that the atmosphere of building is similar to that of other shops? The wooden arch on the ceiling was beautiful.

The soundproof wall was decorated with some history and photographs. Since there is not much information on the internet, you should check with the local tourist information center.

平	平野善信 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧岐阜県大野郡高山町時代及び高山市市政初期時代に使われた役場（市役所）を市政記念館として保存されている建物。流石に地味ではあるが飛騨の匠の技が注ぎ込まれて建設された立派な建物で、館内の歴史的展示品が多いのも良いです。但し、見学無料なのは有難いですが、靴を脱いで入館するので　特に冬場は板張りの館内を靴下だけで歩く格好となり、氷の上を素足で歩くのと同じくらい、体中が足から冷えますので、厳重に注意してください。スリッパや上履き持参の方がいいかも知れませんね! A building that preserves the government office (city hall) used during the Takayama-cho period in Ono-gun, Gifu prefecture and the early days of Takayama city administration as a municipal administration memorial hall. It is a magnificent building that was built with the skill of Hida's craftsman, although it is sober, and it is good that there are many historical exhibits in the building. However, although it is appreciated that the tour is free of charge, since you take off your shoes and enter the building, especially in winter, you will be dressed to walk in the wooden building with only socks, and the whole body will get cold from your feet as much as walking barefoot on the ice. Please be careful. You might want to bring slippers and slippers!

A	Al Hp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many exhibits (mainly pictures) on display but only the titles are in English. If you don't understand Japanese, you'll spend about 10-15 mins the most. Free admission & shoes must be taken off to wear the provided slippers. Great place to know the history of Takayama city. The place has 2 floors and the stairs leading to the highest floor is rather steep, thus not good for those with weak legs.
