★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 紅葉で訪れた。拝観料 300円。30分くらい歩いて，本殿，大観音（写真撮影不可），五重塔を見て回る。10月中旬は紅葉がまだ微妙だったが五重塔のモミジの赤がきれいだった。遠野らしく，池には河童の像。
 I visited in autumn colors. Admission fee 300 yen. Walk for about 30 minutes to see the main shrine, Daikannon (no photography allowed), and the five-storied pagoda. In mid-October, the autumn leaves were still subtle, but the red maple of the five-storied pagoda was beautiful. Like Tono, there is a statue of a kappa in the pond.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 桜情報をテレビで知り初めて訪問しましたが、素晴らしいお寺でした?こんな素晴らしいお寺が遠野にあるとは、全く知りませんでした?
訪問時、丁度桜が満開で風情も一番良いときに訪問できたと思います?
特に、五重塔と桜のコントラスト素晴らしかったです?
拝観料として、徒歩300円車500円がかかります。
今回は、初めて遠野の桜を満喫することができました?
I learned about cherry blossoms on TV and visited for the first time, but it was a wonderful temple ? I never knew that such a wonderful temple was in Tono ?
When I visited, I think I was able to visit when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the atmosphere was the best ?
Especially, the contrast between the five-storied pagoda and the cherry blossoms was wonderful ?
The admission fee is 300 yen on foot and 500 yen for a car.
This time, I was able to enjoy Tono's cherry blossoms for the first time ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かなり広いです。山寺で、上の方まで建物があります。頂上の設備は拝観できるところでは無さそうです。秘密基地のようにも見えました。時間がな場合は下だけで十分見応えがあります。
It's quite wide. At Yamadera, there is a building up to the top. There seems to be no facility at the top where you can see it. It looked like a secret base. If you don't have the time, the bottom is enough to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「遠野の紅葉」を検索して見つけた場所。11月1日に訪問。天気が良くて、紅葉もピークでした。太陽の光をうけて綺麗な赤や黄色を呈する木々の中をゆっくり散策してきました。
四国八十八ヵ所霊場、本堂、多宝塔、大観音堂、五重の塔と坂道を歩きました。
霊場巡りは未舗装の細い坂道なので天気の悪い日や、足腰に自信のない方は避けた方がいいですね。
一木彫りの大観音は一見の価値ありでした。
The place I found by searching for "Autumn leaves in Tono". Visited on November 1st. The weather was fine and the autumn leaves were at their peak. I took a leisurely stroll through the beautiful red and yellow trees in the sunlight.
I walked along the slopes with the 88 temples of Shikoku, the main hall, the Tahoto, the Daikannon-do, and the five-storied pagoda.
Since the tour of the sacred place is a narrow unpaved slope, it is better to avoid it on bad weather or if you are not confident in your legs.
The one-wood carved Daikannon was worth a visit.
