★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「呼ばれ石」とは昔、村人が休んでいると「おーい」と石から声がしました。気味悪がった村人が鉄砲撃ちに撃ってもらったところ、石は静かになったという話から名付けられた大石です。
この「呼ばれ石」を頂上とする「火石沢」の峠道は、かつてはカーブが連続し、一瞬気を抜くと危ない交通の難所でした。特に冬には路面が凍結し、プロであるトラックでさえ時々路面逸脱することがありました。
この曲がりくねった峠道をまっすぐにする大規模な道路工事が2018年12月に完了しました。カーブが解消され、勾配も少し緩和されて、前よりは随分通行しやすくなりました。
"Called stone" used to be called "hey" when the villagers were resting. It is a large stone named after the story that the stone became quiet when a creepy villager was shot by a gunfire.
The "Fire Ishizawa" pass, which has this "called stone" at the top, used to be a difficult place for traffic, with continuous curves and a moment of relaxation. The road surface froze, especially in winter, and even professional trucks sometimes deviated from the road surface.
Large-scale road construction to straighten this winding pass was completed in December 2018. The curve has been eliminated, the slope has been eased a little, and it is much easier to pass than before.
