Is the admission ticket a point card? It's quite an idea. The hand-painted atmosphere is cute ♪ Is it a place that makes you want to come again and again? When I entered while thinking, there were many highlights. It seems that events are held throughout the year, so I wonder if some people will collect points.

A nice place to spend around 30 minutes. There is a house there built in the 1700's and a very unique shrine

The embodiment of folk tales in Japan. The stories give you insight into the old Japanese society and how people used to live. Plenty of English support.

Sit around the fire in the old farmhouse and tell stories. It's great. Also see the 1000 horse dieties. It only takes 20 minutes to see everything, but you could easiky spend longer soaking it all in.

The wonderful collection of buildings with old thatched roofs where you can learn about and enjoy the legends of Tono. In one of the larger buildings there's a room dedicated to Oshirasama. I definitely recommend going there!

Not too far from the city center, actually conveniently located very close to kappabuchi, another point of interest and low-priced place. You can see traditional houses from the area with thatch roofs, live silkworms, experience some silk processing steps, and see the creepy shrine to Oshira-sama with hundreds of dolls covering the walls up to the ceiling in a room with no windows. It's a kind of more condensed furusato-mura. Nice to visit once.

Very interesting place. You can imagine our life long time ago there.
