ペ	ペナルティマン紅茶監督 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐越東線一の秘境駅。この駅を訪れる人のほとんどは秘境駅好きの鉄オタか夏井川渓谷を訪れる人だと思います。（わずかながら地元民の利用もあるようです）待合室はありますが、狭い上に扉など無いのですっかり虫さんたちの家になっています。とても長居できる環境ではありません。虫が苦手な人は冬に訪れることを強くおすすめします。待合室のテーブルに駅ノートあり。券売機なし。 The most unexplored station on the Banetsu East Line. 白	白石透 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐越東線の秘境駅と呼ばれている駅ですが、駅前には小さなお店（朝日屋）や夏井川渓谷キャンプ場、お蕎麦屋さんなどがあります。駅にはトイレはありませんが、駅の入り口から川前駅方向に100ｍほど歩いた県道沿いの駐車場に公衆トイレがあります。かつてこの駅で列車交換が行われていたこともあり川前駅方向に当時の待避線の遺構が残っています。駅の施設としては列車交換が行われたいた頃から残る小さな待合室があり、待合室の中には木製のテーブルとそれを囲むベンチが置かれています。テーブルの上には地元の方が用意したと思われる駅ノートが置かれていてこの駅を訪れた方々の思い出が残されています。とてものんびりとした雰囲気の駅なので途中下車をして次の列車が来るまでの時間、駅周辺を散策したり、駅ノートを読んだり、思い出を残したりして過ごすことをお勧めします。 This station, which is referred to as the unexplored region station of Ban'etsu East Line, but the small shops (Asahiya) and Natsuigawa Valley campsite in front of the station, and you soba's.
