★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 絵に描いたような無人駅です。単線。何も無いけど懐かしいな。昔は駅舎があって駅員がいて、改札口があって、乗り降りの顔ぶれは毎日同じ。のんびり一日が過ぎていったのでしょうね。
 It is an unmanned station like a picture. Single line. There is nothing but nostalgic. In the old days, there was a station building, station staff, and a ticket gate. It seems that the day has passed leisurely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ どこか懐かしさを感じる駅ですね。桜の花を見に訪れたのですが、夏井川沿いの千本桜のほかに駅のレール沿いにも桜が植わっており、なかなか良い眺めでした。維持していくのは大変なのでしょうけど、こういう風景はいつまでも残して頂きたいと思います。
It's a station that feels nostalgic. I visited to see the cherry blossoms, but in addition to the 1,000 cherry trees along the Natsui River, cherry blossoms were planted along the rails of the station. It will be difficult to maintain, but I would like to keep this kind of landscape forever.

Along with Miharu's Takizakura, when I came to see Natsui Senbonzakura (non-flowering), I stopped by as a station with a taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐越東線の駅で、郡山からの列車の多くが折り返す小野新町駅の次の駅です。
遠目から見ると駅舎があるように見えますが、駅前の建物は実は保育園で、この駅の駅舎はありません。駅ホームにはホームの端から入る形になります。
ちゃんと看板があるとはいえ、間違えて保育園に侵入して不審者もどきにならないように気をつけましょうｗ
駅前の道路の車通りは多いですが、列車はもともと普通列車しかないうえに小野新町で折り返す便が多く、行った時には1日6往復しかありませんでした。

There are many roads on the road in front of the station, but the trains were originally only regular trains, and there were many flights returning to Ono-Shinmachi. When I went, there were only 6 round trips a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山間の秘境の無人駅でなにもない駅ですが、春になると県内でも有名な「夏井千本桜」が咲き誇り、ホームにも桜の木が植樹されています。
福島県内でも「三春の滝桜」などよりも遅い時期で開花する様子です。
It is an unmanned station in an unexplored mountainous area, but in the spring, the famous "Natsui Senbon Sakura" is in full bloom, and cherry trees are planted on the platform.
Even in Fukushima prefecture, it seems to bloom later than "Miharu Takizakura".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ とにかく満開の桜が美しいの一言に尽きます。近くには夏井の千本桜があり桜の時期にはぜひ列車で訪れたい場所です。ただし本数が少ないので要注意です。
Anyway, the cherry blossoms in full bloom are just a beautiful word. There is a thousand cherry blossoms in Natsui nearby, and it is a place you definitely want to visit by train during the cherry blossom season. However, be careful as the number is small.
