★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土真宗の宗祖親鸞聖人坐像を中心にして佛光寺中興の了源上人などを祀る。
「大師堂」の「大師」とは親鸞聖人のことで、親鸞聖人は1876年に明治天皇より「見真大師」の諡号を送られていることからこの御影堂を「大師堂」としているらしい。
毎朝こちらの大師堂と隣の阿弥陀堂で朝のお勤めが行われ、誰でも参加できる。
 It enshrines Ryogen Shonin of Bukkoji Temple, centering on the sitting statue of Shinran Shinran, the founder of the Jodo Shinshu sect.
The "Daishi" in "Daishido" is the Shinran saint, and since the Shinran saint was sent the posthumous name of "Mishin Daishi" by the Emperor Meiji in 1876, it seems that this Mikagedo is called "Daishido".
Every morning, morning work is held at this Daishido and the neighboring Amida-do, and anyone can participate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 佛光寺（ぶっこうじ）は、京都市下京区高倉通仏光寺下ル新開町にある真宗佛光寺派（しんしゅうぶっこうじは）の本山の寺院。山号は渋谷山（汁谷山）。京都渋谷（しぶたに）に寺基があった頃（1300年代後半 - 1400年代前半）は、同じ浄土真宗の本願寺を遥かにしのぐ勢力があった。「仏光寺」と新字体で表記されることもあるが、正式表記は「佛光寺」である
Bukkoji is the main temple of the Shinshu Bukkoji sect in Shinkai-cho, Takakura-dori Bukkoji, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto. The mountain number is Mt. Shibuya (Mt. Juya). When the temple was located in Shibuya, Kyoto (late 1300s-early 1400s), it was far more powerful than the Honganji temple of the same Jodo Shinshu sect. It is sometimes written in a new font as "Bukkoji", but the official notation is "Bukkoji".
