★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 河原町五条を西へ歩き富小路通を南に入ると右側に立派な門が有ります。境内は綺麗に整備されており、御守り・御朱印等の受領もされていました。上徳寺は、京の通称寺巡礼の対象寺で「世継地蔵」として多くの方に尊信されています。
 Walk west along Kawaramachi Gojo and go south through Tomikoji Dori. There is a magnificent gate on the right. The precincts were kept in good condition, and amulets and stamps were also received. Koutoku-ji is a temple that is the object of the pilgrimage to Kyoto, and is revered by many people as the "Seiji Jizo."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful tea ceremony at a nice tempel. The lady spoke very good English and explain everything for us. I came early and we were only 3 persons at the ceremony. At 3 PM it was over 15 persons.
You have to wear socks. I recommend this to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and tranquil, small temple complex with parking spaces. Has multiple purification basins and a lot of shrines with singing bowls or gongs, and incense pots. There is a small shop as well where you can buy lucky charms and some souvenirs. In one of the buildings you can partake in a tea ceremony, but you will have to book in advance.
