My most favorite ramen restaurant on earth. Try Chuka Soba (中華ソバ), green bottons on the top of chicket machine.

I don't even know how to pronounce it... But this is--hands down-- my absolute favorite ramen shop. Ever. In fact, this shop is the reason that ramen is now my favorite Japanese food. And this is where the word "oishi" became part of my vocabulary. If we lived closer, we'd be here all the time, and I would definitely weigh a lot more. Their portion sizes are large. They offer a generous portion of pork--and the "extra pork" option is more pork that I've ever seen in a ramen bowl. The noodles are thick, the pork is tender and juicy, the broth is very flavorful and rich, and the egg is cooked perfectly. The cooks always slide our youngest son a complimentary juice box and a couple pieces of candy, just to be nice. The 14-seated shop is warmly decorated, cozy and inviting. To my family, this is simply "our ramen shop".

Come hungry! Very generous portions. The shoyu base was a little too salty for me, but that is my own bias. Char siu slices were thick and tender. Egg was perfectly done. Excellent quality all around.

The restaurant mainly offer ramen with fish soup. I recommend seasoned bamboo shoots that are called 'menma' in Japan. Those are very popular food as a garnish and those of the restaurant are softer and more delicious. English menu available. At first, you need to buy tickets at a vending machine that is displayed in Japanese. Call the clerk and they'll bring English menu.

Springy thick noodles. Very rich yet balanced shoyu (base: bonito) broth. Tender juicy chashu. 10/10.

Thipical 魚介醤油/fish soup&soy source based Ramen but quite good quality of the taste. 叉焼/Roasted pork fillet is one of the best ones ever I ate. And the price is O.K., not so expensive as you often see in Tokyo Ramen shop.

One of the best ramen noodles I have ever tasted with optimal thickness, texture and taste. The whole thing is a bit let down by the soup bases (whether for Shio or Tonkotsu broth) which were a bit too salty for our group's liking. An English guide to the Japanese ordering machine is available.
