★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love menyamusashi bukotsu and shinjuku. I had high expectations because this is also a menyamusashi branch. However, cannot understand why it tastes so bad. I mean it’s okay it’s good, but I just think this branch is ruining Menya Musashi’s image. I was going to visit all the Menya Musashi branches in Tokyo, but after coming here I decided not too. I will just keep visiting Menya Musashi Bukotsu which is heavenly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a big fan of Menya Musashi but not this branch. The taste is not as good the other branch, especially the one in Shinjuku. I did not like the half-boiled egg and the dipping soup. The dipping soup is not flavorful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite tsukemen places in Tokyo. The noodle is thick and chewy. You can size up for free. The meat is very soft and flavourful. The broth is amazing too. Super affordable, tasty, and the portions is great.
I recommend you to eat this when you're really hungry as it's quite heavy, and will leave you stuffed. You probably don't want to eat this too late at night or plan to eat anything else for a while afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good ramen, nice noodle nice flavoured sauce. As always, order at the machine and get servers at the counter.
One dish is around 1300yen and choice of large or small bowl of noodle is up to you and is not charged extra.
If you want to have something hot, go for the soup one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty and affordable. The noodles are thick, chewy and bouncy. The soup is not super thick or fatty, but thick enough. The small portion is 900yen and it is not even that small! I would totally go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menya Musashi is a chain of about 15 different shops across Tokyo. The one in Shibuya has enough seating for about 14 people. The name is inspired by the warrior Miyamoto Mushashi, who was known to train with two swords for combat.
The menu kiosk is similar to many other Ramen restaurants. This one is multilingual. I saw Japanese, English, and Korean that I recognized.
I had the ramen, which was the classic choice, but I believe this one is just as well known for their tsukemen.
The real kicker for me was that during the entire time I was there, they were blasting early 2000s punk rock. I'm talking Blink-182, Boys Like Girls, Relient-K, to name a few. These boys were throwing me back and I was loving it.
