J	Jason Stephen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wait can be up to 2 hours during busy times but it’s totally worth it! The egg yolk and cheese dumplings were my favorite! Try as many types as you can, they are all delicious! And save room for the chocolate dumplings....so good!

In the evening there is a mostly a waiting list, to avoid waiting in line you can go either Saturday or Sunday when they open at 14:00. Until about 17:00 it will be easy to get a seat. The beer is good and there is a happy hour on weekends until about 16:00. Love this place, the gyoza!!! and the people working there!

My favorite ones were shrimp dumplings and the beef dumpling/egg yolk rice --> quite unusual but very tasty :) The staff are also super friendly so you definitely have to try !

The place is tiny, but we went for a late lunch around 3pm and didn't have to wait. Also great to just have a quick snack. We tried most of their signatures, and they were all delicious, pan fried to perfection and packed with amazing flavours!

The place was packed, we had to queue for an hour plus (though there’s a bar just beside that can help with the waiting). The pastry is very thin, as it should be, the flavours are delicious and the dessert...outstanding ice cream with chocolate gyozas.

I order a set: 16 chao chao gyoza, beer, 3 pieces of chicken cheese gyoza, quail egg and of course a beer :) It just costed 1650 yen. They do have English menu. I heard it is usually very crowded but I didn’t have to wait this time. The gyoza is so crispy and juicy but relatively small in size. I ate around 30 of them (ordered more. Shrimp one too). The best thing is a spicy mix they have in the table. Add it to soya sauce and its heavenly ?
S	Shingo Sae-Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Trip was made back then on 30 Nov 2019, 2 years before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit) Read about this gyoza place which was supposed to be very popular and purportedly to have won the gyoza championship award. Upon entering I felt that something was not quite right. The place was teeming with tourists. Perhaps the locals were busy or already had their dinner, or maybe it was just me. Well whatever it was, the gyoza was definitely not good. Their signature gyoza hardly had any filling in it, and even if there was, it was practically just mushy vegetables (think chewing on overcooked mushy vegetables like how your mum fed you when you were a lad) with barely any meat inside. The only highlight was their Bonita tataki. Unfortunately, that won’t be enough to make me want to come back again. Save yourself the trouble and give it a hard pass.

I recommend the kimchi cheese curry gyoza, fried chicken+cheese, and of course, the Chaochao classic. When the seasonals are available, the mashed potato gyoza and the mushroom risotto are great too. -For drinks they have all sorts of options. Personally recommend the “youthful” sour. It’s a Calpis lemon sour. -The location beautiful during Sakura season. - The staff are very friendly. - it’s a small place so it can be busy during a weekend or peak season.
