★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having a quick look at the reviews of this place I decided to give it a go. Have to say it did not disappoint! Straight away I noticed the amazing decor (that old time cafe feel) then I was greeted enthusiastically by the owner. After sitting down and browsing the menu, he came over to take my order and before I could say anything he said exactly what I wanted, guess I just look like a breakfast with the lot type of guy. Breakfast isn't huge but neither is the price, keep this in mind if you plan on coming here. What I can say though, everything was fresh and tasty, even the salad was crispy. Nice and light to start the day, overall great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasteful decor and spotless. The staff are very courteous and efficient. At a very reasonable cost you can try a delightful Japanese interpretation of an English bacon and egg breakfast; complete with Assam tea, toast and Marmelade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was great, experience and food as well. We ordered two sandwiches, one Egg on Mixed for two (careful! They’re equivalent to 2 sandwiches each). Omelette was fluffy and buttery, perfect, and all ingredients super fresh. Loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful local specialty cafe for locals and strong coffee drinker. Also has lovely English tea variety and a wonderful Father and son owners who know their stuff. A must to relax and enjoy the jazz music too. Not wheelchair accessible though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little place near the river in Kyoto. It’s quiet, the staff are polite, and you can get a pastry and a good cup of coffee for pretty cheap. It was relaxing and the interior decor is antique-looking and cozy. Worth the visit!
