2019/09/20 Visit here. After finishing the meeting in the morning, Aizu Wakamatsu City, after visiting the rice squad of the White Tigers in the afternoon, the last place to visit is here. Photographs can not be taken in the museum. The internal documents and articles in the civil war are also listed. There are also guns and guns. In the civil war, both men, women and children are involved in the battlefield. Therefore, there are also special introductions for women participating in the war. There are even photos of 19 youngsters of the White Tigers. There are even short films on the second floor to introduce some parts of the civil war until the juvenile ends. Looking at these artifacts and stories, I accidentally cried, and I couldn’t get away from the sad mood for a while, and felt that it was worth visiting.

There are large display windows on the four walls of the open space like a gymnasium, and materials such as relics, photos, letters, etc. related to the end of the Edo period, the Aizu clan, and the White Tiger Corps are on display. There is a miscellaneous impression that the exhibits are collected and operated with personal assets, but is it a cobblestone chaos? Since it is a memorial hall of the White Tiger Corps, it is a memorial hall that I want to continue in the future.

I felt like I couldn't say anything. I've seen it many times in the play, but when I thought about it in this place, it made me sick.

Please come and visit us is during a visit to Iimori-yama Hill. Exhibit is a hall full of handmade feeling Gyokusekikonko, but the feelings of the white tiger corps and local operators is handed down. I want you to survive forever forever.

I visited in the summer. Iimori Hill is a rattle, but the same was true for this memorial hall. No photography is allowed inside the building. However, there are many exhibits related to Byakkotai. The exhibition is a special exhibition, and I change my clothes once in a while. On the second floor, a video of Byakkotai is being broadcast. Various tourist pamphlets are placed at the entrance, and you can feel free to use them. There were some new religious movements for some reason, but I don't think they have much to do with Byakkotai. With the release of "Baragaki: Unbroken", you will be interested in the end of the Edo period, so I would like many people to visit.

Byakkotai (White Tigers) Memorial. A museum for the memory of young warriors who made samurai suicide in the Boshin War 1868.

It's truly a unique place. It's a memorial sight for the Byakkotai (White Tiger Brigade)--a group of young warriors who fought in the Boshin War and committed suicide when they thought the castle had been taken. Theirs is a story of both honor and tragedy. And visitors should look it up before they go to understand the full import of the sight. (Also--there's a statue donated by WWII-era Italy which is also an interesting story). Like I said, truly unique!
