Great garden oasis. I recommend the matcha tea set- buy a ticket when you purchase admission and then show it to the workers at the tea house near where people feed the fish. If nobody is there, say "sumimasen." It comes with a little dessert.

A great example Japanese garden. The view in summer is just gorgeous and talking a walk here is just nice. You could also get tea with Japanese sweets here.

Beautiful Japanese garden with flowers and herbs. You can enjoy Japanese Macha with Japanese sweets. And if you like, you can feed Japanese carps in the pond.

I was here in February, so couldn't see the medicinal plant garden but the stroll garden was absolutely amazing -- and I've been to a lot. It's compact but well-composed, so feels like another world even though it's in the middle of a nondescript neighborhood. We were alone the whole time except when a tour group trooped though. The matcha set and gift shop are good too, bought medicinal herb tea and honey at the latter.

A picturesque little garden, surrounding a large pond with koi and ducks. The garden is calm and relaxing. The matcha and sweet from the tea house are delicious and the view is beautiful

Perhaps it was just the time of year, but many of the plants were seemingly in distress. Shame that the small tea house in the center of the garden was not open. The gift shop had some interesting herbal mixtures, though.

Stunningly serene garden with on emphasis on medicinal plants. It was a wonder to stroll along the paths and enjoy the scenery.

As always with Japanese gardens, this one didn't disappoint. Such sense of calm and Zen all around. It wasn't crowded at all and it was great to just sit and enjoy the sound of the flowing stream. Please note that although most or it is wheelchair/stroller accessible, there are areas rhat youll have a hard time navigating with a stroller or a wheelchair.
