★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白虎隊仮安置のお寺です。目立った観光のお寺ではないので、お土産や参拝料はなく、静に参拝できます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 飯盛山近くにあるお寺さんです。
白虎隊が最初に仮埋葬された所です。
綺麗にされてる立派なお寺さんでした。
門を入って直ぐからお墓がならんでいます。
白虎隊の仮埋葬地もわかりやすく表示されています。
御朱印をお願いしたら本堂にあげていただき、待っている間にどうぞお線香をあげてお参り下さいと言っていただきお参りさせていただきました。
天井の会津塗のお花の蒔絵がステキです。
御朱印はお気持ちでとの事です。
催促とかいくらですとかおっしゃらないので、蒔絵にみとれて御朱印だけいただいて帰ってきそうになってしまいました(-_-;)

このお寺は、慶永元年に開山した日蓮宗のお寺で、総本山は身延山久遠寺です。
最初は天台宗、改めて日蓮宗となり名を改め、また新たに京都で顕本法華宗のお寺を創建した方です。
戊辰戦争とも関わりがあり、白虎隊の遺体が最初に埋葬された場所(仮埋葬)、松平容保が28日間謹慎した場所です。

訪れたこの日は石部桜?に足をのばしましたが、2分3分咲きでロクに見ないで滝沢界隈を散策しました。こちらは5分から８分咲きでした。日蓮上人の直弟子日什上人ゆかりのお寺です。今年は日蓮上人御生誕800年です。
