★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff I met was really helpful and can understand English. The location is in heart of Kyoto, Kawaramachi, so it is convenient if you are about to shop any others than Apple products. Be sure to make an appointment first through Genius Bar, before coming to the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to go there to fix an issue with my iPad. Was seen not long after my appointment time by a really friendly American member of staff so don’t worry about the language barrier. After quickly determining what the issue was they replaced the iPad there and then. Excellent service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Apple store! Quite spacious compared to other apple stores in Japan. Apart from being aesthetically beautiful it is also a very friendly store with helpful staff.
Looking forward to special events which will hopefully start soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful apple store but to be honest I was expecting more traditional design because of the logo of the store. And the logo is the best thing in the shop, I am totally in love with it.
Staff is super nice and at the moment is not too crowded.

They just don’t accept cash for buying a iPhone 13 Pro series. But if you choose to sign contract with au, docomo or SoftBank, they will allow you to buy Pros with cash. The staff just told me that Apple Japan worries about reselling iPhones abroad, so they don’t accept cash if you just want to buy a Pro without singing contract with carrier companies. However, they say that if you just buy a standard 13 series, you can pay with cash and you don’t need to sign carrier contracts. How contradictory these claims are! Makes no sense at all.
At last the staff suggested me to buy Apple Gift Card and use it to buy the 13 Pro Max online. So is there any difference with buying it with cash offline?
Apple always address consumer experience. However with what I have experienced, it feels like that they just don’t give a monkey’s. And I’m wondering is it legal in Japan to reject legal tender?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked staff how different about watch GPS and cellular, he told me you have to reservations before for their support when you buying.I think it's not a difficult question to answer me at the moment.i came to buy not for looking and he told me if i need to ask any questions i must coming back as a reservation.no service mind at all! Good product but you have to improve more staff.bad experience today for me here
Next time maybe online shop or other electronic store only.
