★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 阿弥陀如来坐像を御本尊とする阿弥陀堂。もともとは、法然上人終焉の地である勢至堂の前に勢観房源智上人によって建てられていたそうで、現在の地に移築されたのが１８世紀の前半。現在の阿弥陀堂は、１９１０年に再建されたそうです。大きくて美しい阿弥陀様です。修行の間、とてもお世話になり常に感謝しております。南無阿弥陀仏。

勅額「大谷寺」は後奈良天皇の宸筆だそうです。
