★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 織田信長・信忠を供養するために建立されたと言う大雲院。その一角に祇園祭の山鉾を模して作られた、祇園閣が建っています。
外から見るのとは違って、中々の高さで迫力があります。
内部には壁面や天井に中国の莫高窟の壁画を模写したものが色鮮やかに描かれていて、とても美しいです。
最上階からの眺めは抜群です。
 Daiunin Temple is said to have been built to commemorate Nobunaga Oda and Nobutada. In that corner is the Gionkaku, which is modeled after the floats of the Gion Festival.
Unlike what you see from the outside, it is powerful at a medium height.
Inside, the walls and ceiling are colorfully painted to imitate the mural paintings of the Mogao Caves in China, which is very beautiful.
The view from the top floor is outstanding.
