の	のんびりマイペース on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 『この坂に隣接する「おとめ山公園は、江戸時代には将軍家御鷹場として一般人の立入りを禁止した御禁止山（おとめやま）であった。この一帯を明治時代末に相馬家が買い取って屋敷を建てた。この坂は新井薬師道から相馬邸に向け新たに通された坂道であるため、こう呼ばれた。平成十五年三月　新宿区教育委員会設置』看板にはこのように記されている。 “The Otomeyama Park, which is adjacent to this slope, was Otomeyama, which prohibited general people from entering the area as a general and a grand palace in the Edo period. き	きじばる潜狸 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代は将軍家の鷹狩り場だった御留(おとめ)山を明治になり、相馬家が買い取り、屋敷としたものです。相馬家は平氏一門の名族であり、戦国時代は伊達政宗を相手に一歩も引かずに本領を守り抜き、関ヶ原の戦いでは中立を維持。徳川家から西軍寄りと見なされていったん改易されるも、本田正信や伊達政宗のとりなしによりまたしても本領を安堵され、相馬中村藩として明治時代まで続きます。戊辰戦争においても、奥羽越列藩同盟に属しましたが、早々に明治政府に降伏をし、以降は明治政府の戊辰戦争の東北方の拠点を提供しました。巧みに生き延びた相馬家の知恵や武勇、そして長い歴史を調べるきっかけを与えてくれたこの坂には感謝しています。 In the Edo period, Mt. The Soma family is a clan of the Taira clan, and during the Warring States period, they defended their true territory without taking a step against Date Masamune, and remained neutral in the Battle of Sekigahara. Although it was once rehabilitated by the Tokugawa clan as being closer to the Western Army, it was relieved again by the intercession of Masanobu Honda and Date Masamune, and continued until the Meiji era as the Soma Nakamura Domain. Although he belonged to the Ouetsu Retsuhan Alliance during the Boshin War, he surrendered to the Meiji government early on and provided a base for the Meiji government in the northeastern part of the Boshin War. I am grateful to the wisdom and courage of the Soma family who survived skillfully, and to this slope that gave me an opportunity to study the long history.
下	下町の太陽 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代にはこの坂上に相馬藩の屋敷があったのでこの名前になったようです。坂は目白御留坂と呼ばれてました。御留坂でも目白御留坂でも良かったですね。 In the Edo period, there was a mansion of the Soma clan on this slope, so it seems that it got this name. The slope was called Mejiro Goruzaka. It was good to be in Mitsuzaka or Mejiro Mitsuzaka.
豊	豊田香林坊 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明治時代におとめ山一帯の土地を所有してた旧藩主相馬家に通ずる坂道。坂道としての趣きはそんなにない。すぐ西側にある大倉山坂の方が趣きある。急勾配な狭いカーブ、そして坂上からの眺望も良い。大倉山坂、案内版がないのは残念。立派な坂道なのに。 A slope leading to the Soma family, the former feudal lord who owned the land around Otomeyama in the Meiji era.
