★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but utterly beautiful house and garden. We spent a while just sitting in the garden admiring the early spring flowers and building. It was very cheap to get in as well. If you're in the area and appreciate either her work of Japanese architecture and gardens then I think it's definitely worth a look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully preserved house that is linked to the interesting life of Hayashi Fumiko - a famous Japanese author from last century. The house has a modern and relaxed atmosphere with an amazing Japanese design that still feels really contemporary. Peaceful gardens in a nice part of Tokyo - was great to experience this area.
