A museum of stamps only that has stamps from Japan to all over the world and also exhibits and sells rare stamps ??️ In particular, exhibits such as "Penny Black", which is known as the world's first stamp, and "Ryubun Stamp", which is famous as Japan's first stamp, are quite rare and must-see ✨ ✨ ✨ The exhibition room on the first floor is fun every time you go because the contents of the exhibition change depending on the exhibition ?? There is also a museum shop where you can buy rare stamps and stamps from all over the world, so it's nice to be able to buy stamps that suit you ??? There is also a library-like floor for stamps on the 2nd floor, so you can browse more and learn the depth of stamps ? Furthermore, the founder of this museum, who focused on publishing Japanese stamp catalogs and foreign stamp catalogs, developed and disseminated postage stamps, held the first national stamp exhibition in Japan, and established the foundation of today's stamp collection. There is also a room that reproduces the study of Mr. Akihiro Mizuhara, a stamp collector who was active from the Showa era to the Heisei era, who was the world's first individual collector to make commemorative stamps with his personal name. Is ?? There are many highlights in the hall, such as small birds holding stamps on the post, bronze statues of grandpas and children who are firmly tagging the collection of stamps, coin lockers, and copper plate stamp-like reliefs on telephones and toilets. I'm glad I was elaborate everywhere ? At the entrance, he works on a wide range of works, from horror to science fiction, gag, and historical drama, regardless of whether they are boys, girls, or youths, but is generally known as the leading horror manga artist. A unique manga artist, talent, lyricist, composer, and movie director Kazuo Umezu, who has been active since the Showa era and has the face of a talent who has appeared in many kid messengers recently. There is also a post ? However, the height of the exhibition is quite low and the exhibits are also stamps, so it was hard to see and it was a bit painful ? Furthermore, I couldn't get into the contents of each stamp exhibition without a solid explanation ... ? Furthermore, the exhibition room on the first floor is too hot and hot (crying). It is a museum that only those who really like stamps or those who are core can enjoy it ? It was good that the employees in the hall were very kind ???

Walking distance from JR station. Small philatelic museum, with some merchandise and international stamps to buy. Access adults 200¥/100¥ for kids. Upstair library has international and Japanese stamp catalogues. There's also a larger stamp shop on the other side with free entrance. They've got everything a collector needs. Stamps, stock books, binders, tweezers etc. On top of it there are also two other stamp shops run by some nice Japanese folks. Both shops are filled from floor to roof with stamps from all over the world. On the 3rd floor there are regular stamp exhibitions and Stamp Bazzar almost every a month. Usually there are several dealers selling mixed stamps from 5¥ a piece up to expensive rare once. Pretty good selection available inc FDC.
