★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1975年（昭和50年）に油堀川が埋められ、首都高９号深川線が建設されるまではここに橋がかかっていたそうです。
こういった旧跡が潰されずに、通行者にわかるようになっていて歩く者を楽しませてくれます。
 It seems that a bridge was built here in 1975 (Showa 50) until the Aburorigawa River was buried and the Metropolitan Highway 9 Fukagawa Line was constructed.
These historic sites are not crushed, and passers-by will understand and will delight those who walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代このあたり一帯は幕府のお食事担当の方々が住まう場所で、お椀を保管する倉がたくさんあったので、わんぐら→わぐらという地名になったそうです。
その地名もあり1929年に「和倉橋」が完成。1975年に油堀川の埋め立てにより撤去されました。
橋を撤去する際は、よく橋の四隅にあり橋の名前が記載されている柱「親柱」を残すことがあり、この和倉橋も2基残っています。江東区指定有形文化財にしていされている、貴重な史跡です。

"Wakurabashi" was completed in 1929 due to the name of the place. It was removed in 1975 due to the reclamation of the Yubori River.
When we remove a bridge, we often leave a pillar "parent pillar" in the four corners of the bridge that has the name of the bridge on it, and two Wakura bridges remain. It is a valuable historical site that has been designated as a tangible cultural property designated by Koto Ward.
