If you have a time around Tokyo station area, I recommend to visit here because this temple is very unique than others. You can enter here for free. Everyday there are drum and fire ceremonies daytime (maybe 13:00, 15:00 etc.). And, you can see lots of statues in the building. This is something like a museum. And, in front of this temple, there are lots of good Japanese style restaurants and confectionery shops (Senbei).

Very interesting temple. This one is sub branch of head temple near Narita-airport, built using sophisticated urban technology. The funniest & attractive event of this temple is "sutra music" which cannot be experienced in any other place! The music seem to be taken place from every 9,11,13,15,17 o'clock every day. The temple do concerts in "esoteric Buddhism" like style, but their lesson seem to be far from real teachings of Buddha, even so the concert is simply cool!! You can also see literally hundreds of wooden statue, if you donate huge amount of money your name can be added to it!

They were closed today but I’m grateful to have experienced the Goma Fire ? Ritual. “It is dedicated to Ācala (Japanese: Fudō myōō ("Unmovable Wisdom King")) who is usually depicted holding a sword and rope and surrounded by flames. Often called a fire god, he is associated with fire rituals.” -Wikipedia

Fire ceremony (approx. 30 min at 9a, 11a, 1p, 3p, 5p) is absolutely worth it.

The temple in itself is fairly normal, but beautiful. You can walk inside (free of charge) but don't forget to take of your shoes of course. The fire rituals they have every few hours is very impressive to experience! Try it out.
