J	J A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「古池や　かはづ飛び込む　水の音」松尾芭蕉のもっとも有名なこの一句を刻んだ石碑が園内に建てられています。松尾芭蕉と清澄庭園には直接のゆかりはありませんが、清澄庭園から400ｍほど離れた、比較的近い場所に深川芭蕉庵があり、その芭蕉庵の池の様子を詠った句こそが、有名な「古池や〜」の一句です。昭和9年に作られたこの碑ですが、芭蕉庵の改修の際、その場所が狭いため、時の東京市長に嘆願し、この場所に碑を移したそうです "The sound of water that flies into Furuike and Kahazuki" A stone monument engraved with Matsuo's most famous phrase is built in the park.
