★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 水戸光圀が寄贈した聖徳太子像が太子堂にあります。2月22日に聖徳太子の像が御開帳されるそうです。新説所Japanのテレビ番組でやってました。
There is a statue of Prince Shotoku donated by Mitsukuni Mito in Taishido. It is said that the statue of Prince Shotoku will be opened on February 22. I did it on a TV program of Shinsshosho Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 善念房は、俗姓を三浦義重といい、万夫不当の武士であったという。建保４年（１２１６）８月、文武に励む１８歳の青年三浦義重が、戦さの神で知られる鹿島神宮へ願をかけに行ったその帰りのことであった。ちょうど桜川にさしかかった時、麻の粗末な墨染めの衣を着た一人の出家が土手の上にたたずんでいた。川を渡ることができず因っていたのである。それと察した青年義重は、さっそく、その屈強な体に出家を背負い、無事対岸に渡すことができた。感激し感謝の意を表する出家の前で、義重は何か心が晴れない様子である。尋ねる出家に義重はこう答えた。「実は今、大いに悩んでいます。父の教えで文武に励み、今も鹿島神宮へ願をかけに行ったところですが、強くなるということはどういうことなのですか。結局、勢力の争いでしかないのではありませんか」と。この粗衣の出家が親鸞聖人であった。ここで聖人がどう答え、導いたのかは明らかではないが、義重は親鸞聖人に魅かれ弟子となって、法名を善念房と賜った。
Zennenbo, whose common name was Yoshiura Miura, was an unjust warrior. In August of 1216, the 18-year-old youth who worked hard for Fumitake Yoshiura Miura went back to Kashima Jingu, known for the war god. Just when I approached Sakuragawa, there was a resident on the bank with a hemp-dyed ink-dyed garment. It was because he was unable to cross the river. Yokoshige, a young man who realized that he was able to carry his home to his strong body and pass it safely across the bank. In front of the delighted and appreciative departed house, Yoshishige seems to be unhappy. Yoshishige replied to the asking home. “I'm really worried right now. I've worked hard on Bunmu with my father's teachings, and now I went to Kashima Jingu for a request, but what does it mean to become stronger? Is n’t it? ” The birthplace of this robe was a relative saint. It is not clear how the saint answered and led here, but Yoshishige became fascinated by the relative saint and became a disciple, and gave the law name a good spirit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉時代後期の作と推定される重要文化財の聖徳太子像を祀る太子堂は明治２９年に、岡倉天心を中心に横山大観・渋沢栄一等により再建された。
The Taikodo, which enshrines the statue of Prince Shotoku, an important cultural property presumed to have been made in the latter half of the Kamakura period, was rebuilt in 1897 by Taikan Yokoyama and Eiichi Shibusawa, centered on Tenshin Okakura.

歴史を感じますが手入れも行き届いているので気持ちが良いです。
太子堂も立派ですし、聖徳太子像は一度見てみると良いかもしれないです。
お墓参りの時はいつも気持ちが引き締まります。
It's a very nice temple.
I feel the history, but it feels good because it is well maintained.
Taishido is also magnificent, and it may be good to see the statue of Prince Shotoku once.
Whenever I visit a grave, my feelings are tightened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉時代に親鸞聖人の弟子である善念が開いた歴史あるお寺です。重要無形文化財である光國が寄進した聖徳太子立像がある。但し年に1度しか公開されないようです。公開日は２月22日ですね。
It is a historical temple opened by the good spirits of Shinran saint's disciple during the Kamakura period. There is a statue of Prince Shotoku donated by Mitsukuni, an important intangible cultural property. However, it seems that it is released only once a year. The release date is February 22nd.

保存状態がよく思ってた以上に素晴らしかったです。なんとなく本堂の裏手に回ってみたら湖があり白鳥が飛来してました。こちらもオススメです。
