★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道長岡水戸線の「薬王院」の看板を目印に参道に入ると、閑静な住宅街の中に忽然と立派な門が現れます。
本殿が重文ですが、仁王門も風格があります。
 When you enter the approach with the signboard of "Yamu-in" on the prefectural road Nagaoka Mito Line, a striking gate will appear in a quiet residential area.
The main shrine is a serious statement, but the Niomon also has a style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 重要文化財指定の 仁王門と本堂は、いつ観ても 趣きがあって、良い雰囲気ですね！
それと 古い墓石も多くて、つい名前など調べてみたいです。
この地域の 天台宗寺院では 一番だと思います。
The Niomon and the main hall, which are designated as important cultural properties, are always tasteful and have a nice atmosphere!
Also, there are many old tombstones, so I would like to find out their names.
I think it is the best in the Tendai sect temple in this area.
