笹	笹林信宏 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中村一門のKANの系列のお店で、日本酒なども多種でノンアルも多数揃えており、価格も飲み物を入れて、デザートも全種類頼んで1人当たり13,000円とちょうど良い価格帯。料理は手際が良いが、その他が若干もたつく点と、荷物を椅子に置くため、隣の席の人の荷物が自分の横にあるという、マナー的に微妙なところはある点が気になる。 Nakamura Ichimon's KAN-affiliated shop has a wide variety of sake and non-alcoholic drinks, and the price is just right at 13,000 yen per person, including drinks and desserts. The food is good, but I'm worried about the fact that the other things are a little sluggish and that the luggage of the person in the next seat is next to me because I put the luggage on the chair, which is a delicate etiquette.

Although there are a lot of tourists in the nearby Yoyogi Koen neighborhood, Yoyogi Uehara is a quiet residential area with many good affordable restaurants that have not yet been discovered by tourists. Yoyogi Uehara Yu is one of them and for less than 7,000 yen you get an amazing full seven course meal. Each dish comes on beautiful Japanese ceramic plates and the food is not only beautifully presented, but also delicious. You can also tell that all the ingredients that the chef uses are of high quality. At the end of the meal you can pick a rice dish that is cooked in a clay pot and the one we picked, the beef mixed with rice, was so good. The service here is also really good and the owner/chef is super friendly. We accidentally found this place because we wanted to check out the Yoyogi Uehara neighborhood and this has become one of our favorite restaurants in Tokyo.
