The appetizers were also superb - local ingredients given a mod-Jap twist. We finished our meal with an orange tart and their homemade red shiso and mint tea. Beautiful.

You can select the piece and experience the many tastes of the fish. Very friendly staff, good English, with great recommendations. It's not big but very cozy ☺️

The quick smoked tuna was so flavorful, and the seafood Cobb salad was both light and filling. The hazelnut and chocolate cake was perfect to split for dessert. We'll be back soon.

The tuna tasted like a bbq beef but only gently smoked, very fluffy and falling off the bone so easily. The sides, a wasabi and capers tapenade (brilliant!!!!), a Saba rillette (i wish there was more one the plate, delicious), the Kabu and Shrimp curry marinated and salad. Hands down! Thank you for this enjoyable moment. Maybe it was the rush hour but the order took a while, in any case it was worth the wait and well priced! So I will keep the 5 stars ? I will return, definitely!

The Iwate-ken oysters were fresh and briny, and all the dishes we ordered- carpaccio, rillettes, fish of the day (hirame)… everything was impeccable, especially the smoked tuna steak. The wine was lovely as well, and wonderful service from Chika-san. Prices are decent, we paid ¥16,000 for two. I will definitely be back!
