S	S W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 代々木八幡宮境内にある4500年前の遺跡で、一棟当時と同じ位置に復元住居を建てている。縄文海進を終え、海が引き始めた時期の集落というとこで、半島状のこの場所から、南側低地(現在の代々木八幡駅方面)にあった元々海だった湿地帯と、回りの森林から取れる木の実、鹿や猪で割と食べ物には困らない立地だったそうです。目立つ遺跡ではないが、八幡宮境内の鬱蒼とした鎮守の森にあり、当時の雰囲気を感じるのには抜群のロケーションだと思う。 It is a 4500-year-old archaeological site in the precincts of Yoyogi Hachimangu, and a restored residence is built in the same position as when the building was built.
