★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 第一駆逐隊とは、旧大日本帝国海軍の部隊の一つで、日露戦争直前の明治36年に初めて編成された隊だそうです。
この慰霊碑と灯籠は、青春を国に捧げ若くして戦に殉した勇敢な戦友と、最後まで海上で戦い抜き戦後の復興に尽力・物故した乗員の霊を慰め、我が国永遠の平和を念願して駆逐艦神風会が奉納したそうです。
The first destroyer is a unit of the former Japanese Imperial Navy, which was first formed in the 36th year of Meiji just before the Russo-Japanese War.
This memorial monument and lanterns comforted the brave warriors who devoted youth to the country, and the spirit of the occupants who were devoted to the post-war reconstruction at the end of the battle, and wished for eternal peace in Japan. It seems that the Destroyer Shinkazekai dedicated it.
