★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今ではこの説明書きしか残っていませんが、かつてこのあたりの甲州街道の両側には高さ約1メートルくらいの盛り土というか塚があり、笹が生い茂っていたそうです。笹塚という地名の由来だそうです。
