★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cold and hot soba's are both good. My wife was skeptical but she's a fan now. The waiters checked on us periodically, fairly often and explained how everything should be eaten. The sides looked a little strange to a westerner but turned out delicious and refreshing, especially with the hot weather outside. The tempura was very good. Pricing was also fairly decent. Checkout at the counter by the entrance. Slurp away folks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Randomly found this soba place as we were walking around the area. Beautiful views. The soba was delicious, they offered hot and cold sobas. I got the set meal with two cold sobas and the noodles had a fresh handmade chewy texture taste and the tempura was fried well. Service was decent and they constantly checked in on us. I asked for both the English and Japanese menus and the Japanese menu had more choices but the English menu covered most of the set meals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent soba experience with an incredible view during lunch. We ordered both hot and cold soba sets. After tasting, I would recommend the cold soba during the hot season. The crispy tempura is a delicious pairing for the soba with the pickled radishes cleansing the pallette after your meal!

The tempura is nice!!
My girl friend prefers the hot soba over the cold soba but I honestly don’t know what she’s talking about.
I think it’s personal preference, but you should order what ever you feel like.
Lastly, the pricing per person depending on what you order ranges from 1200 yen to 3000 yen a person.
Awesome place to visit. Should try if you come to Kyoto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time trying Soba and it was delicious. The waiters and staff are friendly and check on guest often. They explained how to use the dishes for hot and cold soba, along with other things we ordered. The tempura was my favorite! The pricing was fair in terms of the quality and quantity of food you get with your order. It’s a great place to eat on a hot day and comes with a pretty view!
