[You have different tastes] 2021/10/08 Visit around 19:30 I want to try what kimchi natto ramen is like [Characteristics of the store] ・ There are izakaya and restaurants nearby, so it may be a little difficult to understand at night. ・ It's about 20 seats with a U-shaped counter and a small rise. ・ It may be a little difficult for a female customer to enter from the store, but my predecessor was a female customer. I was a regular. ・ Somehow the atmosphere is not energetic, there is a kitchen behind the U-shaped counter, and the clerk is also there, so it is difficult to hear the voice. ・ I can't hear you. [Natto kimchi ramen] ・ ¥ 920 ・ I felt it was expensive, but it may be that kind of quantity. ・ Soup: There is nothing special about soup, but by mixing kimchi and natto, you can get the ramen feeling of kimchi pot. ・ The unique aroma and richness of natto will be added to it, and the flavor will increase. ・ Noodles: Ordinary egg noodles, round noodles with no characteristics. ・ Toppings ... Is it a raw egg? I thought, but the raw egg softens the taste.

I learned about a certain manga and came to the store on the way home from a business trip The order is a touch panel type, and the accounting is a self-type that you hold the slip and pay by holding the barcode. The richness of kimchi, the aroma of natto, and the slight smoothness of the soup match perfectly, and it's no wonder that it's famous locally. The point I was interested in was that the customer service was wonderful, but I wanted to ask if I needed a hand towel, tissue, or paper apron (I don't know if it was there).

The Sendai store of the Yanagi family, famous for Morioka's natto miso ramen. I have a business talk from this afternoon, so I ordered miso ramen (Aoba Castle) without natto. The one with natto doubles the richness and is delicious, but I put up with it. The thick noodles are irresistible with the heap of bean sprouts and the scent of miso from the Yanagi family. In particular, I think that miso is the same miso as Morioka, but it has a strong taste of Tohoku and is the taste of hometown. Thick noodles that go well with miso are chewy and accumulate in your stomach (feeling full of eating). It's a good ramen. I wonder if I want natto after all.

Giving three stars for the service and unique taste of the soup. I tried the Kimchi Natto Ramen and it was okay. The soup has indeed the taste of natto but not kimchi. Also, it has more veggies than meat (which I am not used to).

Yanagiya was definitely one of the more interesting ramen restaurants I’ve had. They offer huge variations of ramen, but most with a kimchi, natto, and miso base. Yes, natto, the deliciously smelly, sticky, slimy fermented soybean that many refuse to eat. I went for their Rare Cheese Kimchi Natto Ramen for 950¥ and added a raw egg for 30¥. Considering it was the normal size, I was absolutely astounded at the very reasonable portion that came shortly thereafter. Yeah, yeah, but how does it taste? Let’s just say if you like the pungent smell of natto and kimchi, coupled with an umami rich miso broth, you’ll love this. And I did! It didn’t have quite the natto-kimchi one-two punch I hoped for, it was still flavorful. If they only upped the natto by another spoonful and used spicier kimchi, I’d be in heaven. The rare cheese gave it a nice creminess that made the whole broth very delicious and it’s definitely worth trying if you want something different!
