★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 奥州市前沢・上野原地域の小さな神社です。御由緒書き等が無いので、詳しい歴史は分かりませんが、一帯に流れる神聖な空気からも地元の方から大切にされている事が伺えます。
 It is a small shrine in Maesawa, Uenohara area of Oshu city. I don't know the detailed history because there are no historical notes, but the sacred air flowing through the area shows that the local people value it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 杉林の中に小さな社、周囲は水田が多いですが、上野原地区は昔は水のない原野でした、裕福な商人逹が開墾を行いましたが、干ばつなどにより、困難を極め、開墾はあまり進みませんでした。後に保科与作が大正9年北海道農法を身に付けて家族と入植、時代の先端をゆく最新の手法でようやく軌道にのりだし、広く評判となり多方面から見学者が来訪,。その頃宮沢賢治も数回訪ね、冷害に強い米 陸奥132号の普及と土壌改良や肥料設計を指導,。与作と賢治が発展に強く功績を及ぼした地です。
There are many small shrines in the cedar forest, and there are many paddy fields around, but the Uenohara area used to be a wilderness without water. I didn't proceed. Later, Hoshina Yosaku learned the Hokkaido farming method in 1918 and settled with his family, and finally got on track with the latest method that is at the forefront of the times, and it became widely popular and visitors from various fields visited. Around that time, Kenji Miyazawa also visited several times to teach the spread of cold-damaged rice Rikuoku No. 132, soil improvement, and fertilizer design. It is a place where Yosaku and Kenji have made a strong contribution to the development.
