★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essentially, the reviews are all accurate. The skewers are juicy and freshly grilled. The service is OK. The place is tiny. But the cover charge is annoying of 250pp and while I ordered 4 skewers, 8 showed up. I ate them, but was not as planned. Also, my wife's soup was forgotten, so experience was mediocre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit when you are at Kyoto. My favorite were Outside Skirt, Chicken and cheese with Basil sauce and Quail Egg and shoulder. That's because chicken wings a quite a bit of other items were sold out. If I have time I will drop by again. Do enjoy the food. Try to get a bar seat so that you can see the chef at work and watch the time pass by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the place is full of foreigners and staff speak good English. the food is so so, best star is the chicken meatball. not very hygienic as the staff used his hands to touch everything including the food.

The place is as most restaurants in japan a bit small, theres a counter and some tables, we were mixed with 2 other small groups but its for the better because you can ask for advices ! The place looks great very modern and theres an english menu. The waiter did speak a bit of english too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cozy place, away from the crowds. You can either enjoy the chef cooking from the counter seat or semi private room seating if in a group.
The yakitori is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious plates and a very nice cosy restaurant. Make sure to call and book in order to have a seat. This worth it. Surprisingly, the potato with cheese and tartar was the highlight of my dinner ^^ Staff from my hostel recommended this place : no regrets.
PS : try to request a place in front of the chef :)
