2	2580 uroko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日曜日は予約なしで見学できる。受付けはあけのべ自然学校にて。1時間ごとの回に申し込みをして、開始時間になったらガイドさんと一緒に入口まで自分の車で移動。めちゃめちゃ見応えのある鉱山跡でした。 On Sundays you can visit without reservation. Acceptance is at Akenobe Nature School. Apply for the hourly hour and move to your entrance with your guide at the start time. It was a mine ruin that was awesome.
井	井上宇享 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明延鉱山は、スズ・銅・亜鉛・タングステン・金・銀等の多品種非鉄金属鉱脈を持ち、スズは日本一の鉱量を誇った鉱山です。閉山は、1987年(昭和62年)3月です。三十数年前まで採掘が行われていました✨ プラザ合意後の円高の影響で、スズ等の市況の下落による赤字経営が原因。まだ採掘可能な鉱脈を残していたようですが。ここで採掘された鉱石は、6キロ程離れた神子畑選鉱所に鉱山列車＝明神電車(乗客賃一円で乗客を乗せたので一円電車と呼ばれた)で運ばれ、そこで選り出された後、生野銀山併設の生野製錬所に運ばれていたようです。私が中学生の頃に閉山しました。テレビのニュースや新聞で取り上げられたのを記憶しています✨ 見学には予約が必要ですよ☺️。 The Meinobu mine has a variety of non-ferrous metal veins such as tin, copper, zinc, tungsten, gold, and silver, and tin is the mine that boasts the largest amount of ore in Japan. After that, it seems that it was taken to the Ikuno Smelter, which is located next to the Ikuno Silver Mine. I closed the mountain when I was a junior high school student. 小	小橋伸助 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 予約が必要との事。行ったのは土曜日でしたが、坑道入れず仕舞いでした!残念! で〜入口からは夏なのに凄く冷たい空気が漏れ出ていました!中は半袖半ズボンでは寒いでしょうね! 谷間の田舎町ですが、かつては鉱山の街として栄えた名残りがそこかしこに見られましたネ A reservation is required. o	ontarou minamikaze on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 兵庫県道6号「養父・宍粟線」を北側から南下する途中で寄りました。生野・神子畑・明延・中瀬という鉱山採掘場があったそうですが、今は残された坑道が予約によって見学できるらしいです。入り口で停まって鉄格子の隙間から中を覗いてみましたが、本当に「真っ暗闇」でした。私は予約して見学・・まではしませんが付近の集落も立派な土蔵がある古い家屋が残っており、県道6号線も国道429号に抜ける自然豊かな道で、トコトコ走るには良いドライブルートです。 I stopped by on the way south from the north side of Hyogo Prefectural Road No. 6 "Adoptive Father / Shishi Awa Line". m	m on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて日本一の産出量を誇った鉱山が三菱マテリアルと自治体の保全で、今もそのまま残されてます。見学では中に入ることができ、14度の気温の中、機械の説明や当時の暮らしぶりなど、とても興味深いことを聞かせてもらいました。今では取り壊されて面影はありませんが、団地がたくさん山の斜面に建っていたこと、テニスコートや映画館などもいち早くあり、高価だったテレビが各家庭にあったことなど、坑夫は身体を張って働く分、お給料もよかったことなど、色々な話をききました。エレベーターも鳥籠のようなエレベーターなのに、超高速で地下の階層の深くまで行けたようです。ちなみに14℃の気温は最初は寒いので、できれば上着は持って行ったほうがいいですが、なくても最後の方には半袖でも慣れる程度でした。 The mine that once boasted the highest production in Japan is still left as it is due to the conservation of Mitsubishi Materials and local governments. 弥	弥生志暢 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本でも数少ない当時のまま保存されている鉱山跡です。鉱山跡の博物館は日本でも数多くありますが、ここはガイドさんのツアーに同行しないと危険な為入れません。日本の鉱山の中でも最終期まで現役だったこともあり、省人化されてからのダンプ車などはここでしか見ることができません。 It is one of the few mines in Japan that has been preserved as it was at that time. There are many museums of mine ruins in Japan, but you can't enter here because it's dangerous unless you accompany your guide's tour. Even among Japanese mines, it was active until the final stage, so you can only see dump trucks after labor saving.
T	Ted Ellis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akenobe's Mitsubishi copper mine is the site where hundreds of allied forces POWs worked in 1945 as slave labor during WW2. Mitsubishi profited greatly from the free labor and hid many records in the mines to avoid prosecution after the surrender of Japan. From written affidavit testimonies the prisoners were forced to work in very unsafe conditions with rocks falling and cave ins regularly occurring. The prisoners were mostly Americans, British, and Australian. They were all transferred to akenobe in 1945 from fakajima prison camp in Osaka. Over 40 prisoners died during their internment there (Osaka Camp #6) some from untreated diseases incurred in the fakajima camp. The camp commander had his guards stab to death 2 American Marines as an example by upon recapture after escaping into the mountains during a thunderstorm. It seems pretty reasonable to think that maybe these mines and the former pow camp area are haunted by the spirits of these tormented souls. The nearby ikuno silver mine conversely treated it's POWs a little better and experienced no recorded deaths of pow laborers during this same period.
