★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 縄文時代の住居が再現されている小さな公園です。通りかかったついでに立ち寄るくらいでしょうか？寺地遺跡の価値はこの一帯に翡翠の化工場が有ったことです。勾玉などの宝飾品が出土しています。残念ながら発掘当時の場所は住宅が建っていて本当に価値の有る遺跡を目にすることは出来ません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 縄文中期から晩期にかけての遺跡で、ヒスイを加工した玉造工房跡とみられる竪穴住居跡と、物見櫓の跡か木柱４本の跡が見付かった遺跡です。
現在は、公園となって竪穴式住居と４本の柱が再現されています。
ただ、付近に駐車場がないので、車は路駐となります。
