★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前のいい場所に信用金庫の支店があり少し離れた場所に町役場の支所がある。この辺りで由良川は蛇行し駅は国道から離れた場所にある。切符は委託販売が行われていて時間は限られるが窓口で買える。園部〜綾部間の途中駅で駅近のコンビニは鍼灸大学前のローソン以外ありません。くれぐれもご注意を。
There is a branch office of a credit union in a good place in front of the station, and a branch office of the town hall is a little away. The Yura River meanders around here, and the station is far from the national highway. Tickets are sold on consignment and can be bought at the counter for a limited time. There is no convenience store near the station on the way between Sonobe and Ayabe other than Lawson in front of Acupuncture and Moxibustion University. Please be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 田舎の小さな無人駅。3番線が下り本線2番線が上り本線、1番線が側線で上下待機線となっている。駅番号はE22。
正面にJR西日本直営自動切符売場があり4:45から午前0時まで稼働している。右側には窓口があり地元の駅を守る会が対応している。6:30から夏は17:00まで冬は16:30まで。いずれも12:00から14:00まで休憩となっている。来年3月からのICOCA導入については客数激減のため非対応。
A small unmanned station in the countryside. Line 3 is the down main line, line 2 is the up main line, and line 1 is the lateral line, which is the vertical waiting line. The station number is E22.
There is an automatic ticketing area directly managed by JR West in front of it, and it operates from 4:45 to midnight. There is a window on the right side, and the association that protects the local station responds. From 6:30 to 17:00 in summer and 16:30 in winter. Both are closed from 12:00 to 14:00. The introduction of ICOCA from March next year will not be supported due to the drastic decrease in the number of customers.
