有料の園内は季節的なこともあるのかもしれませんが
ほとんど山野草の花がなく残念でした。
やせたホタルブクロがところどころだけ。
いや、もっと今花をつけてる山野草あると思うのですが。
今の季節のあじさいやササユリが園内地図では群生してあるように表示されてましたが
群生してるほどの本数ではありませんでした。
園内が広すぎて充分にそれぞれの山野草の管理ができてないように感じました。
園内の注意喚起の立て看板が『園部警察署』のままでした。
『南丹警察署』に変わって何年経ってるんでしょう？
受付棟に付随された販売用の山野草コーナーは充実してて
山野草をみるなら無料のこのコーナーで充分かなと思いました。
街中では聞かない鳥の声が響いていたのはよかったです。いろんな鳥たちがいるのでしょうね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山道は舗装されていて歩き易いです。6月はササユリ、紫陽花が咲きます。他季節の山野草に出会えます。山野草の苗やガーデン用の花苗の販売も有って弁当持参で楽しめますよ。

個人的には苔フェチなので、すっごい数が多くてテンション上がりました?

桜の季節は初めてだったのですが、こんなに桜の木があったのかと思うぐらいに堪能しました。
山あいの景色の中、ウグイスの声が響き渡り、とても心地よかったです。
山野草の方は、イワウチワはもう終わりを迎えてますが、カタクリ、イワカガミ、イチリンソウ、バイモなどが楽しめます。
