説明書の看板によると昭和33年に発見されたとの事。発見当時は縄文時代晩期の土器を主とし竪穴式住居跡も見つかったとの事。所在地は小幡緑地西園の一角に案内板があるのみです。晴れた日には多くの人々で賑わっていますがどれだけの人がこの遺跡の存在を知っているのだろうか？
晴れた日の午後に昔の人々の生活に想いを馳せるのも悪くはないかな!

According to the signboard in the manual, it was discovered in 1958. At the time of discovery, it was said that the remains of a pit-house dwelling were also found, mainly for pottery from the late Jomon period. The location is only a guide board in a corner of Obata Ryokuchi Nishien. It is crowded with many people on a sunny day, but how many people know the existence of this site?
Isn't it bad to think about the lives of old people on a sunny afternoon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小幡緑地(西園)の南西あたりの地域から、縄文時代後期から古墳時代の竪穴式住居や土器等が発掘され、この地域が遺跡であることが1958年(昭和33年)にわかった。ただ、小幡緑地の南西の一番端に、ひっそりと名古屋市教育委員会の駒札が立てられているだけなので、ここが遺跡だったと気付く人がどれだけいるでしょうか。
