★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小幡白山神社が古墳の上に建てられていて、言われなければ古墳とは思わないし、わからない。
隣接している保育園が休みの日は、とても静かで、左義長なども行われており、地元の鎮守様として親しまれているよう。
瀬戸街道から細い参道を少し入ったところにあり、表には神社の案内板しかないので、古墳として訪ねていくと見落としてしまうと思う。
 Kominato Hakusan Shrine is built on an old burial mound.
On the day when the adjacent nursery school is closed, it is very quiet and the left guard is also held, so it seems to be popular as a local guardian.
There is a small approach from the Seto Kaido, and there is only a shrine information board on the table, so if you visit as an old tomb, you will miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "白山神社古墳" という名前ではないけれど、
墳丘に鎮座されるのは白山神社。
古墳をまわっていると、ちょくちょく出会う組み合わせ。
下から見ても上がってみても、結構高さがある円墳。残念ながら古墳としての案内は全く無い。調査で埴輪や周濠跡も確認されているらしいので、看板1枚でも立ててくれるとよいのだけど。
周濠の名残り？の池はカルガモ家族が来るらしい。石室の名残り？な雰囲気もある石積みの窪みもあるけど、まぁよくわからない。保育園と住居に囲まれて、周囲を廻ることもできない。
古墳として見学しようと思うと、ちょっと消化不良な感じで終わると思います。

Remains of Zoukei? It seems that the duck family will come to the pond. Remnants of Ishimuro? There is also a pit of masonry that has a nice atmosphere, but I do not know well. Surrounded by a nursery school and housing, it is impossible to go around.
When I try to visit it as an old burial mound, I think it ends up being a little indigestible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小幡南島古墳の墳上に小幡白山神社があるが、古墳であるという表記はまったく無く、見た目には「こんもりとした山の上にただ神社がある」ようにしか見えません。でもここは紛れもなく古墳なのです。6世紀前半に築造された直径33m、高さ5mの円墳なのである。1960年(昭和35年)に周濠と埴輪片、須恵器片が出土した。現在は北側の堀を埋め、盛土整形されている。
