★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 史跡としてはいいが、周りからの見学の為 大きさ 形等が全く分からない、公園が有るので 矢倉等を組んで全体が見えるようにしてほしい?

古墳の外観はよくわからないけど、ビール片手に緑地でひと休みが気持ちよかったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 守山小学校の横にあるこんもりした小さな古墳。
秋にはどんぐりがいっぱい拾えます。色んな種類のどんぐりがあって、小さいものから、大きいどんぐりまで。散歩にはうってつけです。

戦前までは水を湛えていたという周濠が
埋められて公園になっています。
"保存状態も良好" な前方後円墳とありますが、
夏草がどうとか言うレベルじゃない薮と木々。
どっちが前かすら、わかりゃしないぐらい。
かえって案内板に
「後円部は二段築成」とか
「内部主体がそのまま残る」とか
書いてあるのがうらめしいぐらいです。
宅地にせず、よくぞ残してもらいましたと
ありがたくは思います。
手を加えずに保存してほしいけど、
見学は出来るようにしてほしい、というのは、
我儘なんでしょうね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋って遺跡が少ないなあ、と思いながら探したら、名鉄瀬戸線の瓢箪山駅の「瓢箪山」は前方後円墳だと気付く。
立ち入り禁止なので、フェンス越しに見るしかないが、看板の説明にある「内部主体もそのまま残る」のはぜひ見たい。どこかに紹介している施設があるのかなあ。
When I searched for Nagoya, thinking that there are few archaeological sites, I noticed that "Gourd Mountain" at Gourd Mountain Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line is a keyhole-shaped tumulus.
Since it is off limits, you can only see it through the fence, but I definitely want to see the "internal subject remains as it is" in the explanation of the signboard. I wonder if there is a facility introduced somewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中には入れない様になっています。木で覆われているので、古墳の形はわかりません。自衛隊基地を横目に向かいました。それだけで楽しかったです。
It is designed not to be inside. Since it is covered with trees, the shape of the tumulus is unknown. I headed to the side of the Self-Defense Forces base. It was just fun.
