★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 菖蒲が咲いたら、星5つ。蓮も沢山生えていたので、蓮の季節も良さそう。無料公園、駐車場、トイレ有り。
 When the irises bloom, 5 stars. A lot of lotus was growing, so the lotus season looks good. There is a free park, parking lot, and toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 牛久沼のちょっとした穴場スポット。花の時期ではありませんでしたが休日だったので釣りをされてる方がたくさんおられました。風光明媚良い場所です。駐車場もしっかり整備されております。
A little hidden spot in Ushiku Swamp. It wasn't the flower season, but it was a holiday, so there were many people fishing. It's a scenic place. The parking lot is also well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 牛久駅から南西約3km。徒歩30分の牛久沼そばにあるあやめ園です。6/6現在、あやめや蓮がぼちぼち咲き始めています。
市内循環バスで三日月生涯学習センター停留所下車、そばです。バスの利用が便利。
入園料は無料ですが、これといった土産物屋もないので要注意。男女別公衆トイレもありますが、8:30～17:00以外は施錠されますので、これまたお気をつけ下さい。
訪れる人もそれほど多くなく、ベンチはあるのでお茶を嗜みながら、のんびりあやめ観賞するのがよろしいかと。
It is approximately 3km southwest from Ushihisa Station. It is a iris garden near Ushikunuma by a 30-minute walk. As of 6/6, Ayame and Lotus are beginning to bloom.
Get off at the Crescent Lifelong Learning Center stop by the city circulation bus. It is convenient to use the bus.
Entrance fee is free, but please be careful as there is no souvenir shop like this. There is also a gender-specific public toilet, but it will be locked except from 8:30 to 17:00, so please be careful.
There are not many visitors, and there are benches, so it is good to enjoy leisurely and watching while taking a cup of tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "観光"を謳いつつも大して観光資源化されていないために、とても静かに牧歌的な風景を満喫できます
むしろ河童の銅像が邪魔くさいかな（笑）それよりも日本のコッツウォルズみたいなブランディングしたほうがよほど良いと思うような長閑な場所で、一人でぼーっと過ごすのにとても良いです
You can enjoy the idyllic scenery very quietly because it is not a big tourist resource while singing "sightseeing".
Rather, the statue of a kappa is annoying (laughs) It's a very quiet place where I think it's better to brand like the Cotswolds in Japan, and it's very good to spend time alone.

駐車場は広めで トイレの上が展望台になってました。
Not only irises but also kisses were in bloom

無料駐車場完備、トイレあり。
こじんまりとしているがよく整備されている。
牛久沼名物の河童の像が所狭しと存在している。
何も考えないでぼーっとするのによい場所かもしれない。
Ayame garden on the banks of Ushiku-numa.
Free parking and toilet.
It is small but well maintained.
There are many statues of Kappa, a specialty of Ushiku Swamp.
It might be a good place to hang out without thinking.

駐車場も沢山空いており、時間がゆっくり流れていそうな場所で、皆さんブラブラのんびり。
The cluster amaryllis was in full bloom in mid-September.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ９月23日現在アヤメ園内、利用可能となっていました。勿論、トイレも利用できます。展望台付トイレ？大した事ない、そんな眺めがいいわけでもないし、散歩や暇つぶしには良いかもですねぇ??️??
