★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨日、デパ地下催事で購入しましたが昔食べた桜餅と同じだろうか？と言う程美味しくなかった。口コミやメディアに紹介され精進を忘れている様な味でがっかりしました。
 I bought it at a depachika event yesterday, but is it the same as the sakura mochi I ate a long time ago? It wasn't delicious enough to say. I was disappointed with the taste that was introduced by word of mouth and the media and I forgot to devote myself.

お餅に色付けはせれておらず
道明寺の本来の自然な色を生かしています
餡は上品な甘さのこし餡
柔らかめに炊かれた道明寺にも優しさを感じます
やや小さめサイズのさくら餅は
2枚の大きな桜の葉挟まれて
すっぽり隠れています
伊豆大島の桜の葉を塩漬けにして
使用されているそうですが
この桜の葉の香りと塩気も良いですね
今は紅葉狩りの季節ですが
このさくら餅は年中購入可能
というよりも
こちら鶴屋寿さんは桜餅専門店のようです
多くの老舗料亭の手土産として誕生したお菓子だそうですが、こちらは信頼を寄せている方からいただきました
優しさに包まれた素朴な小さなお餅は
とても〝しっとり〟していて
ほっこり気分になる美味しいお菓子でした

桜の葉の塩気と餡の甘みが絶妙で2つくらいすぐ食べてしう美味しさです！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春だけでなく通年売っている。京都の桜餅ではここがお勧め。小ぶりだが甘さも丁度良く、桜の葉の香りがなんとも。以前は京都駅の伊勢丹で売っていたけど、今は河原町の高島屋の京都コーナーかここでしか買えない。
It is sold not only in spring but all year round. This is recommended for Sakuramochi in Kyoto. It's small, but the sweetness is just right, and the scent of cherry leaves is amazing. It used to be sold at Isetan at Kyoto Station, but now it can only be bought at the Kyoto corner of Takashimaya in Kawaramachi or here.
