I dont normally consume the soup but this? I downed it all up by ordering kaemeshi, meaning extra rice and putting it in the left over soup. I ordered the level 5 and yep, it was pretty hot. Am I coming back? Absolutely, will try the other version and the one without the soup as well.

Better than most I’ve had nearer to me (Shibuya - I like Usagi’s tantanmen, but they are not as good at Tsujita’s). Choice between a creamy or a spicy version. They both have a decent kick at spice level 3. Level 4 is my limit. I prefer the creamy version with peanut and sesame. Also comes as a combo with a side of mapo tofu. The mapo tofu is the best I’ve had in Tokyo. No doubt. Can’t wait for my next visit.
