For foreign people or tourist like me who don't know much about kyoto, better make sure your destination and the route. But, it was fun experince when you around and just get lost ?
C	Cross roads on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple where the five main Inari mikoshi stay during the entire year in wait for the festivals. This is a nice place with importance to both shinto and budhism since it is for Inari. Not for random tourists, only during festivals.

If you decide to go to the top y takes 1.5 hours if you are fit. you have bathrooms, beverage machines and diferent shops along the way.
C	Chris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must do for your Kyoto trip! How ever, it can easily turn into a nightmare there is so much tourist! Avoid at all cost during the weekend. Go there really early or on the late afternoons. Also keep going to the summit after the two main gate path. You will find less and less of tourists. It's a good 2 hours to get to the top. We were with kids. The shrine is not stroller friendly. We recommend that you leave your stroller at the train station.
