★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ひっそりと小さなお社が、トトロの森に囲まれて鎮座しています。巨大な木々に圧倒されました。この場所から見る森よりもやはり展望台から見る森の方がトトロっぽく見えます。
 A small company sits quietly surrounded by the Totoro forest. I was overwhelmed by the huge trees. The forest seen from the observatory looks more like Totoro than the forest seen from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ トトロの森 心臓部。山の神だそうです。少し幻想的な感じがしました。混みもせず落ち着きがありました。近くの用水路の音が凄く上手く遮断された状態でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 展望台からの写真ですが、夏が見頃じゃないかな？駐車場は舗装されてなくて穴だらけなので雨降りだとハマる可能性あるので注意が必要です。
直接関係ないけど向かう途中に大規模牛舎反対だの悪臭被害とか看板が3つも立っている。楽しみたいのであれば山見ながら向かうのをオススメします。
It's a photo from the observatory, but summer is in full bloom, isn't it? Please note that the parking lot is not paved and is full of holes, so you may be addicted to it if it rains.
Although it is not directly related, there are three signboards on the way to the barn, such as the stench damage caused by the opposition to the large barn. If you want to enjoy it, we recommend heading while looking at the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 米沢変電所を左手に見て、どんどん進んでいくと、右側にちっちゃな看板有ります。駐車場？は水溜まり注意。道の反対側のビニールハウスでメロン栽培始めましたと言う看板有りましたが未調査。
If you look at the Yonezawa substation on your left and proceed steadily, you will see a small sign on your right. parking? Be careful of puddles. There was a sign saying that melon cultivation started in a plastic greenhouse on the other side of the road, but it has not been investigated.

周りは山に囲まれた大自然の中に
このトトロの形をした森が現れます。
写真は展望台から撮影すると綺麗に撮れます。
なお、この近辺には特に何もありません。
どこに行くか迷ったり、
何をするわけではなくただ時間がある方であれば
一度は行っても良いかな〜?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雰囲気を味わいたい方向け、トトロ好きの方におすすめのスポット。
駐車場含め無料で見学できます。
但し駐車場は未舗装ですので雨天時は衣類が汚れるかと思いますので要注意です。
展望台に向かう途中に茂みの固まりがあったのでもしかしてこれがトトロ？と思ったらビンゴでした。
ちなみにトトロの森のある場所には神社があります。

四季それぞれを楽しむことが出来ます。
ただ、夜イルミネーションとかすると尚デートスポットには適した場所になると思います
