Toyama has an altitude of 118.6m and introduces it as "Reikan", one of the four most wonderful views of Matsushima to overlook Matsushima Bay.
The view from the observatory was amazing ✨

松島海岸駅近くの三十刈駐車場からウォーキングを兼ねて徒歩で訪れました。ほとんど舗装された道なので歩きやすかったのですが山に入ってからはひと気がなくなってしまったので熊鈴を持ってくれば良かったと思いました。往復で3時間半ほどでした。
車の場合、山に入ってから道が狭くなりますが、すれ違いのための退避所がいくつもあるので、そこまで困ることはないと思います。途中の参道前の広いスペースに停めて参道を歩くか、最奥のお寺まで行って階段をちょっと登れば到着します。お寺にきれいなトイレがあります。
お堂の前に1本もみじがあり綺麗なグラデーションで紅葉していました。ただ、紅葉目的なら松島四大観 幽観 扇谷の方がおすすめです。
Visited in early November 2021.
I visited from the 30-kari parking lot near Matsushima Kaigan Station on foot for walking. It was easy to walk because it was almost a paved road, but after I entered the mountain, I didn't feel like it, so I thought I should bring a bear bell. It took about three and a half hours for a round trip.
In the case of a car, the road becomes narrower after entering the mountain, but there are many shelters for passing each other, so I don't think there will be any problems. You can reach it by stopping in the large space in front of the approach and walking along the approach, or by going to the innermost temple and climbing the stairs. There is a clean toilet in the temple.
There was one maple in front of the temple, and the leaves were colored with beautiful gradation. However, for the purpose of autumn leaves, Matsushima's four major views, Yukan Ogiya, are recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道から道幅の狭い道路に入って、５分程度進みます。
舗装はされていますが、待機スペースが少ないため、対向車には要注意です。
麓の参道前には、クルマ４～５台分ほどの駐車スペースがあります。
そこから石段を１０分ほど登ってやっと到着です。
今回は曇天のため、感動する景観は見れませんでした。
晴天で空気が澄んでいれば、松島の海と島々がコラボする絶景を見ることができるはずです。

In front of the approach to the foot of the mountain, there is a parking space for 4 to 5 cars.
From there, climb the stone steps for about 10 minutes and finally arrive.
It was cloudy this time, so I couldn't see the moving scenery.
If the weather is clear and the air is clear, you should be able to see the magnificent view of the collaboration between the sea of Matsushima and the islands.

何よりも雰囲気が良いです！
お庭に入るのに100円納めますが、良心的すぎる金額です♪
アクセスですが、車で山道を走って近くまで行けますが、道が狭く対向車が来たら大変な事に。
足が健康であれば、麓に駐車場があるようですので、参道を歩くことをおすすめします！

道中車のすれ違いに苦労しそうな狭い幅の道を通る必要があります。
何箇所か車を脇に寄せれそうな場所も有ります。
２０２２年３月１６日の地震の影響なのか道路脇の斜面が数箇所若干崩れたのかな？って小さめの岩がチラホラ転がってました。
参道入口付近には車を数台分停められるスペースが有り其処からそれなりに疲れる程度の階段が延びています。
その道中続く石段の脇には椿の木がチラホラ生えていて綺麗な花を咲かせていました。
行き着く先に立派な仁王門と朱色の観音堂、それに歴史を感じる梵鐘が見えて来ます。
丁度ソレラに背を向ける方向にちょっとした東屋調の展望台が作られていて、其処から奥松島の複雑に入組んだ島々と海を眺望する事が出来ます。
見える景色は相当に素晴らしい絶景なのですが、観光地として見てみた場合どうしても其れだけだと弱いイメージは強いです。
星三つの理由としては寺社としても魅力的で、かつ折角コレダケの絶景スポットで有りながら至る道の狭さや駐車スペースの狭さ等様々な点で人が多く訪れれる様な観光スポットとしては活かしきれていないなと思ったからです。勿体無い。
しかし逆に訪れる人の少なさそうな穴場中の穴場でもあるのでドライブがてら物のついでに訪れる場所としては良いかと思います。

At the end of the road, you will see the magnificent Niomon, the vermilion Kannon-do, and the historical temple bell.
A little Toya-style observatory is built in the direction of turning your back to Solera, from which you can see the intricately intricate islands of Oku Matsushima and the sea.
The scenery you can see is quite wonderful, but when you look at it as a tourist destination, it has a strong image of being weak.
The reason for the three stars is that it is attractive as a temple and shrine, and although it is a spectacular spot for Koredake, it can be fully utilized as a tourist spot that many people visit due to various points such as the narrow road to reach and the narrow parking space. I thought I didn't. It's a waste.
However, on the contrary, it is a little-known spot in a little-known spot where few people visit, so I think it is a good place to visit while driving.
