Staff were nice and helpful but when taking orders, did not confirm what broth we wanted our ramen in or what set meal we wanted - this resulted in incorrect orders for the both of us. The thick ramen soup was ok - very thick and eggy which some may like. Also thought the ramen was pricy for the amount of meat (one slice) and noodles given.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never tried Kyoto style ramen and this was an eye opener for me. It was rich and creamy I fell in love with it. I don’t know how this compares to other ramen shops in Kyoto but it was delicious. I look forward to trying more Kyoto style ramen in the future!! The price of the meal was pretty cheap as well. Recommend this place if you’re in the area

The magical kotteri style secret broth left a haunting flavor in my brain. Rich and thick made with a secret chicken-bone broth. Comes in a big portion and it's cheap.
A yummy eeny meeny miny moe random pick dish, since I literally cant read Japanese Kanji tho.
I considered chewing a gum after meals, since they use a whole lot of oil though, which makes my mouth kinda greasy afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the ramen set with fried rice, gyoza and kimchi pork. The fried rice is pretty good, the ramen is a bit too thick and has a grainy bits in the brooth
Overall a bit too salty for my taste

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 22.02.2018: heavy soup base was kinda salty and weird, the color and texture felt like peanut butter blended with water, noodle was al dente and even the portion was small but still had the feeling of stomach was so full, staff was really nice..
if you are party of two, have one of you to try the non-heavy base style which i would have preferred on my next visit :)
